  • Anatomical and physiological understanding of muscle health and dysfunction
  • Theoretical framework for approaching treatment
  • Review of relevant anatomical structures
  • Injury prevention
  • Client after-care
  • Current information on, and treatment approaches to, the following problems: 
    • low back pain
    • gluteal region pain
    • hamstring, groin and quadriceps pain
    • knee pain
    • lower leg, ankle and foot pain

Explore deep tissue principles and techniques that can be used to treat injuries throughout the entire body.  This class will include the following: 
  • Anatomical and physiological understanding of muscle health and dysfunction
  • Theoretical framework for approaching treatment
  • Review of relevant anatomical structures
  • Injury prevention
  • Client after-care
  • Current information on, and treatment approaches to, the following problems: 
    • low back pain
    • gluteal region pain
    • hamstring, groin and quadriceps pain
    • knee pain
    • lower leg, ankle and foot pain
    • mid-back and thoracic pain
    • neck pain
    • headaches
    • TMJ
    • whiplash
    • shoulder injuries
    • injuries of the elbow
    • forearm pain
    • wrist pain (including carpal syndrome)
    • hand and thumb pain

This is a great class if you are new or relatively new to deep tissue treatment or if you are looking for a comprehensive review.  The detailed, straight-forward treatment protocols will help you hit the ground running and allow you to treat a variety of problems that you may encounter in your office.
