injuries throughout the entire body. This class will include the
following:
- Anatomical and physiological understanding of muscle
health and dysfunction
- Theoretical framework for approaching
treatment
- Review of relevant anatomical
structures
- Injury prevention
- Client after-care
- Current information on, and treatment approaches to,
the
following
problems:
- low back pain
- gluteal region pain
- hamstring, groin
and quadriceps pain
- knee pain
- lower leg, ankle and foot pain
- mid-back and thoracic pain
- neck pain
- headaches
- TMJ
- whiplash
- shoulder injuries
- injuries of the
elbow
- forearm pain
- wrist pain (including carpal syndrome)
- hand and
thumb pain
This is a great class if you are new or relatively new to
deep tissue
treatment or if you are looking for a comprehensive review. The
detailed, straight-forward
treatment protocols will help you hit the ground running and allow you
to treat a variety of problems that you may encounter in your office.
